Oh, these keyboard-shaped waffles look great! Attention, computer nerds and waffle lovers of the world, this is for you! Imagine putting all that maple syrup in Shift and Enter buttons…

Ikea organized a competition for children to draw a fantasy toy. The 10 winning entries were then turned into cute plush toys and Ikea will sell them around the world as part of its Soft Toys For Education campaign. Check out this video to see more for the procedure. Such a great idea and for a good cause!
My girls were never too crazy about Barbie, but I was happy to see that after 59 years, Mattel finally gets it right: the new Barbie ad finally changes strategy and starts encouraging little girls to “imagine the possibilities”, when they follow their dreams and career goals. Maybe if they also changed those awful Barbie movies, it would really make a difference!
A great idea if you have a garden: a multipurpose igloo designed both as a winter garden and a summer sitting or playing area. Oh, I know my kids would go crazy with this! Of course you could just turn it into a storage room or a garden shelter, but it’s a shame because it looks too good.
This is from a few years ago, but it is so adorable I had to share it here. My favorite children’s book illustrator Oliver Jeffers teaches us how to draw a penguin.
I love these Totoro cakes, they are so well made. Totoro is a big, cute, huggable forest spirit and the title character in the Japanese animated film “My Neighbor Totoro”. And he looks so good on a cake.
This tent would be greatly appreciated by my kids and I personally love the elegant wood frame and also the fabric prints that are designed by Lotta Jansdotter.
I would not imagine that someone could come up with such an idea, but the Nivea Doll is a clever one to help kids understand the importance of sunblock use. Part of a Nivea campaign, this doll is made with UV-sensitive material and actually sunburns when it is exposed to sunlight without protection! The child has to put sunblock on the doll to prevent it from turning pink.
It’s a shame because apparently it is not yet a product that parents can actually buy, so can someone please take this idea and make it reach the general public?
Monument Valley is the name of a video game. But it looks like it is one of the most beautifully designed video games I have ever seen. In this dreamy world, you can see inspirations from M. C. Escher and from classic fairy tales. So cool!
