Lettering work by Jessica Hische for Papyrus‘ Valentine’s line of greeting cards and wrapping paper.
This is Magic Moment by Berlin street artist BRONCO, best known for his urban interventions. I find really interesting the use of Letraset film to create these beautiful overlaid letters.
This gin packaging is so cool. Designed by Simone Hodgskiss (aka Pearly Yon), an Australian illustrator, designer and letterer for a micro distillery in Belgium. Hodgskiss’ illustrations are inspired by tattoo style line work, and the color selections as well as the print finish are simply amazing.
And this is the first batch of Bonnie & Clyde, where all the beautiful type has been created from scratch by Pearly Yon, finding inspiration from the 1930’s era.
Written and designed by Jessica Hische, this looks like a great kids book with gorgeous lettering. “It’s an uplifting bedtime book about aspiring to do great things tomorrow, reflecting on what you’ve done today, and forgiving yourself for what you haven’t been able to do.” The book will be out on October 2018.
“The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life.” Lettering by Jessica Hische.
Brazilian digital designer Vinicius Araújo created a different letter of the alphabet for his project 36days Electronics. He only used Helvetica typeface and all letters were inspired by specific electronic items and brands, like a retro Apple computer, a Canon camera, a Dell monitor, an Epson printer, an LG air conditioner, a retro Motorola mobile etc. The execution and attention in the detail is amazing and Araújo has even designed a small gif animation for some of the letters .
A beautiful example for digital letterpress printing: These are Black Sheep Studio business cards and promotional items designed, of course, by Black Sheep Studio!
