G Design Studio designed the branding, packaging, and typography for Kourellas Dairy, a small organic dairy farm with a line of Greek yogurts and cheeses. I love the handwritten typography! They have actually used an existing hand-painted script font, that was exclusively customized for Greek characters by Backpacker.

Known for its eclectic font collections, House Industries has been around the design world for more than 25 years. Apart from the beautiful mid-century style fonts, they have also designed everything from books, home decor, toys, stationery, t-shirts and apparel for women and men. They are now releasing a new book titled The Process is the Inspiration on May 30.
In their words: “With topics ranging from fonts and fashion to ceramics and space technology, this beautifully-useful volume offers a personal perspective on the origin of ideas for creative people in any field. Presented in the honest, authentic, and often irreverent style that you’ve come to expect from House Industries, The Process is the Inspiration is a collection of helpful lessons, stories and case studies that demonstrate how you can transform obsessive curiosity into personally satisfying and successful work … Most importantly, this book shows that there’s no sense in waiting for inspiration because inspiration is already waiting for you.”

I did not know that lyric videos were a thing, until my 10 year-old daughter told me about it! The song “Shape Of You” by Ed Sheeran is on her playlist for sometime now, but I had never watched this video before. This is not actually the official video, but the official lyric video for the song, illustrated and directed by Charlotte Audrey. Love the playful animated lettering!
Lauren Hom is a designer, illustrator, and letterer based in Brooklyn, New York. She has developed a unique type style that’s crisp and clean, yet whimsical and handmade, with bright color palettes and playful letterforms. Her work has been an inspiration for my own lettering style.
Love these typographically illustrated maps by the celebrated graphic designer Paula Scher. Scher began painting these obsessively detailed, highly personal creations in the early 1990s and were recently published as a book.
To bring the world closer to the live action at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships that took place in St. Moritz, Switzerland, UNIT9 programmed autonomous robots to craft messages from fans in the snow. The result was an alpine artwork masterpiece – the size of 16 soccer fields. See the video of the amazing process!
Great lettering work for the campaign of Wind mobile company by Vladimir Radibratovic. It was used for the cover of a Greek free press magazine.
Love this lettering painted by British graphic designer Alex Fowkes. “Take Pride”, “Collaborate” and “Be Courageous” is the sign painting written on a wall of the office of a creative production studio.
