Nick Knight and his team at SHOWstudio have created this beautiful video, using older and unseen footage from Knight’s collaborations with Alexander McQueen. It features some of the designer’s most acclaimed pieces and was created in the occasion of V&A’s exhibition Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. Sadly I did not have the chance to see it, but it turned out to be the most popular show in V&A’s history.

Ever wish you could unsend or edit an email that’s already been sent? So many times I have accidentally clicked reply all, or have sent to a wrong recipient, or realized I have sent an important email with mistakes! unSend.it apparently allows users to unsend or edit any email after it’s been sent (even after being opened by the recipient). I have not tried it, but I am intrigued by the Self-Destruct option! There must be a catch somewhere…
(This is not a paid ad, I just get enthusiastic about some products!)
If you haven’t already seen Seb Lester‘s work, you should follow him on Instagram for amazing lettering. This video is a compilation of some of the most famous logos drawn by Lester’s hand.
Last night I watched the 1960 original Ocean’s Eleven with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and the rest of the Rat Pack and although I have to admit it looks a little dated, you can’t beat the title sequence by the great Saul Bass.
A lot of British sense of humor in this stop-motion animation called Nudinits, where everything is hand-knitted with a lot of detail. It is set in a charming little town called Woolly Bush where the inhabitants are all naked! That calls for a lot of innuendos.

I would not imagine that someone could come up with such an idea, but the Nivea Doll is a clever one to help kids understand the importance of sunblock use. Part of a Nivea campaign, this doll is made with UV-sensitive material and actually sunburns when it is exposed to sunlight without protection! The child has to put sunblock on the doll to prevent it from turning pink.
It’s a shame because apparently it is not yet a product that parents can actually buy, so can someone please take this idea and make it reach the general public?

Monument Valley is the name of a video game. But it looks like it is one of the most beautifully designed video games I have ever seen. In this dreamy world, you can see inspirations from M. C. Escher and from classic fairy tales. So cool!
My kids would go crazy riding in this water slide, which is all decorated with LED lights and rainbow color effects. If we could travel in time, I figure it would look like this!

I was a big fan of the first season of True Detective series, and especially loved the cinematography, the atmosphere and the title credits, so I was thrilled to watch the opening sequence for series two. It was created again by US studio Elastic and production partner Antibody in the same style as the first one but with a California theme.
I think the song in the first one was much better though. You can see the title sequence of season one here.

Killdeath, a collective of directors and animators created this music video, where type steals the show! The art direction & fonts were done by Yann Le Dluz.
